Hi
I'm off to Salou Saturday and wondered if anyone could help. I've read that there is a land train that goes to Portaventura, does anyone know anymore info about it? Where it stops etc?
Thanks in advance
hi the train goes to either cambrils or it goes to cap salou and portaventura. it comes from cap salou through the town then up to portaventura. hope this helps.
you will see 1 or 2 wally trollys going around the resort they all go to the park they are just like busses you can get it from most parts of salou we used to get it down on the beach front think it is about 3 euros a time
its a really nice round trip to go on early on in your holiday because that way you can see all the surroundings and nearby places dead cheap and highly recommended!
All sounds pretty easy. Thanks for all your help. Hopefully the sun will keep shining for us.
Just to let you all know (if you're really interested) I found the little land train, it stopped right outside our hotel (the Calypso). Very nice trip up to Port Aventura. Can't wait to go back.
This sounds good we are going to Calypso in July. Would appreciate any further info.
We're going again on 29th May.
I've bought tickets for Port Adventura (14 days) so we can come and go as we please but I don't want to do that every night. What's the entertainment in the hotel like? Is there any other places you'd recommend?
Beach looks good as well so we'll probably do that daytime if I can drag my daughter away from the pool.
We had 7 days tickets for Port Aventura last time and went about 4 days. It's good because you can just nip up there for a couple of hours if you fancy it. I think this time we'll just get a 3 day pass because we didn't really see much else.
We did go to the Waterpark in Pineda which I really enjoyed, it was pretty quiet when we were there because it was near the end of season. It's quiet easy to get to by bus.
We met up with some friends in the Titanic bar about 15 minutes from the hotel the first 2 nights of our holiday but the rest of the week we stayed to watch the entertainment in the hotel. We all really enjoyed it. There was a Miss Calypso contest the last night we were there and it's a shame it wasn't our first night because we had such a laugh and became friendly with a lot of other people in the hotel.
I'm sure you & your daughter will have a great time. (sorry to waffle on)
