Hi,

Gumbet is smaller than Marmaris, but both have loads and loads of shops, bars and restaraurants - more than enough to keep you busy for a fortnight.

Hi Claire. I haven't been to Mamaris but had a great holiday in Gumbet a few years ago. Wasn't really fussed on going to Turkey but as I always choose where we go I gave in to my husband for once and let him persuade me to give Turkey a go. I'm really glad we went as it was wonderful. We stayed at the Hotel Baba in Gumbet which was ideally located on the beach and in the middle of the bars restaurants etc. We never go back to the same place twice but I am considering going back here in the near future. Hope this helps.
