We stayed at the Blue Star a couple of years ago. A bit out of the centre but near the europa shindig. There is a big bar in the europa which is advertised by a flying plane over the beach all day....cant remember the name but utter crap stay away it like the return of Hughie Green and Mathew Kellys worst love child, up to date Z list buffoons doing the whols spectrum of modern music from Alma Colgan to Showaddy waddy...The Blue Star was ok not flash and sometimes a bit of a pain with the hillside lift arrangements..usual numpties above you in hi heels moving tables etc at two in the morning...but its Puerto Rico so we put up with it because the other bits are great...if your taking your missus drag her into town to Harley's bar on Mondays..while you get drnk she can watch the bouncy bouncy Raul boys dance on the tables...Have fun...Oh and the Parrot at the hotels swears like F$*K. Also watch out for the timeshare..it costs about £14K a week and if you look in your sunday papers before you go you can see them for about £4-6k.
