Somebody also posted a link to a German Forum and the Germans had posted lots of pictures of Concordia. Looks very nice and glitzy. We sailed on Costa Fortuna earlier this year and loved it. You can read our review on the Cruise reviews section of this site.
One small point, if you do find alot of negative reviews on Costa do not worry too much as you will find that most of them are by US pax who find the European style of cruising very different to what they are used to on cruise ships in the US/Caribbean.
Has anyone been on Costa Concordia yet?
No, but I've seen the dam' thing! We were in Palma for a few days in late-ish September, staying at the Catalonia Majorica, with the view over the bay & the cruise port. (Watched Ocean Village leave in the evening, lights glimmering on the water...) Anyway, the following morning we were leaving & going back to the airport. The plan was to walk down to the main road (the marine drive - 'Paseig Maritim') and get a #1 bus from Club de Mar all the way to the airport. When we got to the bus stop the first bus whizzed past absolutely stuffed to the roof with passengers. So we waited for the next bus, and the same thing happened. Then the penny dropped: Costa Concordia had arrived overnight, and what we were seeing was a small proportion of her 3000+ passengers filling up the buses at the route's terminus (the cruise terminal) to go into Palma!
Here's a URL to some pictures of ships in Palma, including Costa Concordia that last morning:
