Hi
Have heard that single parents are required to prove parental responsibility before being allowed entry into Tunisia. Does anyone have any experience with regard to this issue? We are leaving for Hammamet next week and are quite concerned. Thanks for your help.
I'm a single parent and have travelled to Tunisia with my daughter on 2 occasions, once last year and once this year. No time at all was I asked any questions.
So I don't think you have anything to worry about.
Thanks for the information, concerns were raised after checking through the passport website etc, contacted Tunisian Embassy who confirmed that documented evidence would be required. No such documents were issued at the time of divorce so was a little worried!
Hi jojo70 - I have taken my friend's children to Tunisia twice and the only paperwork I have had has been their passports. No problems at all. Just enjoy the holiday. Jenny
I have travelled twice to Tunisia with my 2 children and had no problems re papers of parental rights/custody. My boys were born in Greece, live in UK with me and no probs.
