You can change money at reception, including asking them to change large dinar notes for smaller ones or coins. I'm sure there was a safe in the room.

shop on site

hi is there a shop on the hotel site?
if so what does it sell?
as last year i had to dive to a local chemist for some items and was a bit of an experince!!!!!!!!

There was a shop when we went in 2004. I think it sold biscuits, postcards, sun tan lotion and souvenirs etc. There was also a small supermarket within walking distance - plus bigger ones in Yasmine Hammamet (a short taxi ride away).

ladies things

hi, does the shop sell ladies things?
last year for some flipping reason I got caught short in ( ladies monthly problems) had to get taxi to find a chemist...yes we found 1 and got the needed items but was a toalt panic...agagagagagagaggaag

just would be peace of mind if i knes shop was open & sold the items....

Never been to YH but have been to Sousse Skanes and Borj Cedria and all the hotel shops sold branded names of womens products---mayhaave been a bit more expensive but most of the pharmacies in Tunisia sell them also

just got back from phenicia

hi just got back from phenicia and just want to say had a super hol.
I will do a full report once ive had time to do my washing,hahaha.
