Our plans to go to Belcekiz Beach next year have just been blown out the water.
My brother in law and his family want to come away with us next year, which we're delighted about. But it also means we'll have to drop down the standard of hotel which we'll be booking. They have four kids so I don't think their budget will stretch to a four star all inclusive for a fortnight. So we'll maybe hold on going there until later on in the year and do a week on our own.
All the hotels and flights seem REALLY expensive at the moment, I wonder if we'd be as well holding off to see if we can get a late deal for a much better price. Do you think there's a chance of this given that there's 9 of us, 4 adults and 5 children, ages 15 10 8 6 4.
Also, I've saw a couple of good deals on Icmeler online for apartments. Such as Captain Silvers, which I paid a visit to last year and they looked ok. However, I'm looking for something that at least has a slide to keep the kids amused. Can anyone recommend somewhere suitable for us that has something for the kids to do that can be booked DIY???
We don't mind if its Marmaris, Icmeler, Olu Deniz etc. Bit wary of anywhere else as at least I know whats to do in this general area.
Thanks so much AGAIN everyone!

Moonlight aparts have a slide and 2 pools
Thanks John, I was going to pm you if you didn't reply anyway, lol
They look promising John, reviews seem ok too. Have they got two bedroomed apartments then, as most of the reviews only mention 1 bedroom and say they're small.
Sorry we can't get a look in at the 2 bedroom aparts as I think that they are tied up in a contract with someone else just as Captain Silver 2 beds are with us.
Thanks, sorry for all the questions. I may get to return the beer you bought us at the chill bar last year after all

We are a family of 6, and have booked Club Candan in Marmaris 28 May - 11 June (school hols) - we booked 2 one bedroom s/c apts, paid for 2 adults in each, and got 1 free child place in each (cheapest way of doing it) total cost £1332 - it was originally £1690, but Thomson cancelled our original flight, and when the holiday was repriced, it had gone down £360 (better flights too!!)
We booked through Portland Direct - they are cheaper than Thomsons.
These apartments are brand new, and still have the artists impression in the brochure, but the reviews on here have been excellent.
We are really looking forward to it - only 7 1/2 months to go!

Thats a really good price you got there, a bargain. For us to go 2nd July its £3500 for the nine of us, which I still feel is a bit dear for self catering. However, I've started putting a list together of what I have priced up so far and will start comparing facilities against price soon to see what is best.
we got a great deal for next may,£1495 for two adults and two children, and the fights were £400 return, this is for 2wks ai,but this is our 3rd year thier so they have give us a great deal, but i dont think it would be that much more expensive for a new customer, all depends what you want from your holiday tho,as to weather this place would suite your needs, but for us its great, the girls love the huge pool with its wave pool and slides, then thiers the shows that are put on every night, very professional, the staff are excelent, and on top of that thiers a great nightclub for me and mum to let our hair down when the kids have gone to bed.
roll on next may.
Just done a quick search on Portland website for Club Candan, flying from Glasgow, 2 July 4.15pm, coming back 17 July 00:05
3 x 1 bedroom apts, paying for 2 adults and 1 child in each = £3108
By my calculation that should be £1036 for you, and £2072 for your brother in laws family! Not bad for two families in July - have a look, the swimming pool and facilities look great!

Thank you Tracey, thats excellent. I didn't think of doing it that way. You're a star, that now cheaper than diy.

Hi!!
Try vision holidays, but dont book on line give them a ring.
They have quite a few AI hotels in Olu Deniz on offer.
We are going with them to hotel Majico Bronzo next Friday in Ovacik which is v near Olu Deniz.
We are planning on looking at all the hotels in their brochure while we are there and then booking one of them on our return.
Our hotel is only about £500 for 2 weeks AI in peak season!!
We paid just under £300 for the October half term for 1 week AI. If we had gone last week, it was only just over £200!!
Will let you know how we get on when we get back.
Same as u, we wanted to go back to Belcekiz beach but full for the date and no of nights we want for 2007, so will do our own research next week, and then book as soon as we get back next Sat.
My personal opinion you cant go wrong in Olu Deniz, the hotels all looked lovely, and the resort for us, makes the holiday and Olu is our perfect resort.
Plan to holiday here for years to come!!
