we were thinking of going cheap deal if we can find one to turkey about 29th oct..week after half term. A few people have said don't go as most things closed. is this true. we are not real big beach people just want restaurents, markets and trips as well as bit of beach.
also what temp like. any advice greatly recieved asap. not been to turkey before.
depends where you go. marmaris doesnt totally shut during the winter
Just back fro Olu Deniz and they were begininning to wind down, only seven rooms are occuppied in the hotel we stayed at this week. Will do a report later. Weather was a bit iffy for a couple of days had some big storms overnight but managed to come back with a good tan.
You will be OK if you go to Antalya or the surrounding area as they tend to stay open pretty much all year round.
