You will have to fly to Delhi and get the train to Agra, where the Taj Mahal is. Spicejet and Kingfisher Airlines do inexpensive flights from Goa to Delhi - you can see their web sites http://www.spicejet.com and http://www.flykingfisher.com

The trains are very inexpensive and the Delhi-Agra route is an express - takes about 3 hrs and you get fed well!

Alternatively you can get a package tour through somebody like daytripper (info@daytripper.com). They are more expensive but you are accompanied every inch of the way. Travelling alone to Agra would be a bit daunting.

We did the trip and added an extra day in Delhi which I think you need - otherwise it's a heck of a lot of travelling with early starts and late finishes.
