yes it's a different one This one is located next to the Nizmar Hotel overlooking the football field in Calangute. It's in a central position but I coud'nt comment as to what its like. I've looked in it before and it seemed the same as all the other Hotels of this standard in N. Goa, certainly it's location is fine Alan

We have stayed at the Alor a few times and it is a pleasant enough place with good staff - a good restaurant and Restaurant Manager by the name of "cosmos" and the rooms at least in the new block at the front side of the football field are of a good standard.The Alor Grand has just been taken over by the Alor group - it used to be called Don Fresco!
