Arrived yesterday and had a walk along some of the beaches today, most of the trouble at Sinquerm end only lasts for the first few hundred yards from the Taj steps, after that the beach is much flatter than last year. Candolim and Calangute beaches are also much flatter than last year, Ive not managed much past the steps at Calangute towards Baga yet but it looked much the same as last year All the beaches are very dirty with rubbish as there is no sign of the beach cleaners. All the licences for the shacks were being issued, most are well on with building already, most have sunbeds out and are serving drinks but not many are doing food yet. No sign of all the supposed new lifeguards yet and definatley no Pamala Anderson lookalikes so it,s safe to say the drownings will continue Alan
