Planning a family holiday in June for 2 small children (just 2 years old) and 5 adults. Here is my dilemma:

* We are driving down form Austria, so only really want a max. of 4 hours driving.

* Should be near a lake (garda/como ?) or the sea

* Accom. must be child friendly and safe - can anybody suggest a nice villa/hotel (self catering not a problem) with a nice garden. Maybe even a playground?

Have been looking on the web for ages but haven't found anything I liked yet. Would really appreciate some feedback from family's who have been there already.
Can anybody help??????
