fresh milk

Hi,
You can get fresh pasteurised milk in Mercadona. It is in the chilled cabinets, usually near the yogurts, butter etc. Whole milk is the red top and semi skimmed is the blue top. It is in 1.5 litre, plastic bottles and I think the price is about 1.20 Euros.
Hope this helps.

You can also get fresh milk in the Consum supermarkets as well. If I remember right it is called leche entera or semidescremada (full cream or half fat). To my taste the full cream is probably equivalent to the old gold tops we used to have. When it "goes off" there is far more cream floating on top of your coffee than you get when that happens at home  The pasteurized milk is in the chiller cabinets, the sterilized milk is usually in boxes on the "uncooled" shelves.
