HI
Could any one advise me on what winter breaks in febuary in Bodrum are like. Is weather reasonably pleasant and is there a few restaurants, bars etc still open

february is cold and wet, but there are some sunny days and temps can get up to mid twenties, Bodrum,like marmaris ,doesnt shut completely,there will be plenty of bars and restaurants open in the centre.
Bodrum actually is a lot more lively than Marmaris in the winter as most of the people who work / live there in the summer also do so in the winter as well. Most hotels in Bodrum area remain open all year round.
a turkish friend of ours i talk to on skype said it is 23 f in bodrum today ,sat 18 nov. and weather is lovely. biggles.
