Thanks for prompt reply. Funnily enough I have been offered another apartment in the same complex! I was a little worried that it is so far out from the town when I saw it originally so tended to discount it out of hand.

Thanks Meishka, looks very nice - I really need to be within easy walking distance of the town. We're both in our 70's and whilst pretty fit don't like to have to walk too far! (Especially coming back after a meal and a few drinks)
I will bear it in mind though and try for a price for a four week stay.

How can I make sure I am going to get exactly what has been promised when I rent? I rented in Los Chritianos a couple of years ago and the apartment was not ready for occupation, the pool wasn't finished, we were on the fourth floor and the lift wasn't working! On top of that we had a storm and the rain poured into the kitchen. BUT because the rental was in Tenerife I couldn't even get them into court for a fight! So I am Cagey.
