I am currently trying to plan a holiday in August next year for myself, hubby and two kids who will be 12 & 16. Typical prices for 2 weeks 5* AI in Turkey are around £4800 (sharing one room ) whereas for £3500 we can go to similar accommodation in Cuba, Margarita or Dom Rep (with 2 adjoining rooms ) and more facilities.

We also thought that Tenerife was quieter this year. Don't know if A.I. has anything todo with this, but many people there at the same time as us, commented on it.
