Hi. Can anyone tell me anything about these apartments? We are looking to go in April but arent sure whether they are in a good location for us. How far from the Marina and Bonanza Square are they?In fact where exactly is Bonanza Square,we have only been to Torremolinos before. If anyone can reccomend any private rentals near to them I would appreciate it
Thanks Helen
By no means can they be described as central, though whether you consider them in a "good" position or not is really up to you. If you like things quiet, they might be to your taste. If you like to be in the thick of the "biz", well, give El Coloso a miss.
It will take a good 20-25 minutes to walk to the nearest outcrop of bars and restaurants, starting at the Sunset Beach complex. To Benalmadena Marina, I'd say a good 45 minutes walk - if you're nifty on your feet.
Bonanza Square is above the Benal Beach apartments, and right of Paloma Park. When you walk past Benal Beach, turn left at the roundabout and head up the hill, keeping the park on your left. About 300 yards up, turn right at the set of traffic lights and keep on slogging up the hill. Bonanza Square, marked by the appearance of the Frying Scotsman fish and chip shop, will soon come into view on your right.
Hope this helps. Tony.
Cheers Helen
The apartments in Jupiter & Minerva vary widely, so do those in their sister blocks Aguila, Iris, Hercules and Agata. The blocks were built in the early 1970's and those apartments that are still in their original state may be quite tatty. One the other hand, those that have been refurbished are usually excellent.
