I'm thinking of cooking my own xmas dinner in north goa . Can anyone tell me where I can buy things like stuffing, gravy, xmas pudding, cranberry sauce
thanking you in advance
Seriously, i think most of the bigger supermarkets, newtons calangute, lawande candolim should have most ingredients, but why put yourself through all that hassel in that heat , most places will be doing them anyway, and no pots and plates to wash,
allan.
I've volunteered to cook Christmas dinner for 6 this year(did it after a few G&T's). I went to order the turkey this morning from Farm Foods in Mapusa "sorry no turkeys this year" whoops, what to do
Friends fetched M&S xmas pud, mince pies, an advent calendar, gravy granules and Paxo. I know you can buy sprouts but have never seen parsnips.
Just need to find a turkey now

Julie, try Farmers choice in Povorim or Ajays in Mapusa for your Turkey, I'm sure they both supply them. Farmers Choice had cranberry sauce in stock last week.....better be quick they only had a couple of jars!!

Thanks for that GFF, Famers Choice was my next stop, but some one said that it belongs to the same people as Farm Foods in Mapusa so I thought they wouldn't have them neither. There's a couple of shops in Calangute fish market that sell them so I'm told. To be honest I'm not that keen on turkey so we may opt for roast beef
Got to have the Paxo though
