Just checked Easyjet and got these prices for a 10 day trip. It means travelling on a Tuesday and coming back on a Friday. But thats dirt cheap.

That is inside Sagres, only problem is you have to fly it yourself!!
Ahhh,that's the catch then!-if you've got to fly it yourself,you'll have to have a window seat in the front and the surcharge for that is £99 per head !!! 
Not to mention the sore arms you'll have at the end.......flapping up and down for nearly 3 hours!!!!!!!

What,no taxes or charges 
I just had a look on the Thomson flights web site and that flight from Manchester to Faro is £271 return - a bit different from what was quoted on here!!!!

I think Jeffrey may have missed all the taxes and charges.
Even if flights were only a 1p I think tax and charges would make it up to something like £20 one way each.

grand total 60.96 return, still good though. This was a 24 hour deal only
had to pay in full by midnight on 26th sept, the next day it went up to
222.46 plus taxes each and today the total cost is £553 !!!!.
So I reckon I have saved £493
