The waiting just irrestible decause you know you will be a free bird once you are in Goa on 28th December.
I stay at Arambol but most likely i will just spend a day there and move on to check out the rest of Goa, i think hiring a car would be fine. Its my girl friends birthday on the 31st december and thats the reason for the trip,
Can anyone advise me what all could be done in 5 days as i come back to mumbai on 2nd and the back to Delhi on 3rd morning,its my Girlfriends first time in Goa and i want to make this trip memorable for her. All the advises are welcome and warnings will be adheared to for sure.
HT has been a great help and i would like to compliment on the sturcture of the website which is very very user friendly and an amazing job being done. keep it up and some final advises will be really handy because i'm so confused as i feel 5 days are not enough and with the response that people give it feels even a life time is not enough to get out of that place. No matter what happens Goa will always is and will be in our hearts

Hi Karan - probably not too far for you (2.5 hour flight ?) 5 days though, -you will wish you had a lot lot longer !!
Day one (same day as flight) - chill out, relax,eat and drink .
Day two - Check your notes from this site on where to go for the day,chill out,relax and drink.
Day three - think about what you did yesterday,how much you enjoyed it and wish you had come for a lot longer... chill out,relax eat and drink.
Day four - as day one but chat with the people in the shack you have chosen and enjoy a day on the beach.
Day five - home for you I guess (will you be back ?) - YUP !!

I am sure to be back for 2 weeks in March for my Birthday as well. and then i might explore whole of goa but this trip has going to hectic i know due to many reasons, 1st and foremost my friend who works at Kingfisher has to return to Mumbai on the 1st before 9am so after partying we dont get time to rest. 2nd we have to have dinner with her on the 2nd january, because then we meet her after three months. lets hope her flight reaches in time because if it doesnt, she could even lose her job.
she has to be there for my girlfriends birthday no matter what.

ooh HTers please pray things go fine for every person on this planet and pray cops catch as many terrorists as they can and make them good human beings and pray that the US president gets some brains and comes to goa for a holiday instead of going to iraq to see how his troopers are doing. hehehe
