Got disillusioned by the reports of the Kings Arms Hotel in Lancaster, so we have now booked for the Lancaster House Hotel, does anyone have any reports on this one please? It is not listed in the hotel reviews area.

Lancaster House is fine but lacking any atmosphere at all. I have stopped there numerous times with work and it is really depressing.
It caters for business types and your not even allowed the sound on in the hotel bar !
I would recommend the Thurnham Mill (about 4 miles away). It is only small and not to the 4-star quality of Lanc House but at least it has a bit of life ! It is about 3-star but the food is excellent with a good bar

Lancaster House Hotel, just got back today and will be posting a review in the next few days, no problem at all, would recommend it.

sorry only just saw this, stayed last October had a great 2 nights stay, booked offer with Best Western, phoned hotel after and paid £10 per night to upgrade to a suite, best £20 ever spent....lovely room plasma tv king bed, biggest b'room and seperate lounge, better than lots Ive stayed in. £6 taxi to Lancaster for night out. Will do hotel review too.
