What colour is the 'snake' ? The only hotel in that area that I can think of with a large 'mural' on the outside wall is the Hotel Flamingo Oasis. (I think....but stand corrected )

I think the mural depicts an image of a pink flamingo, but it does not look like a 'snake' to me, but then we all percieve certain things in a different way don't we? (Like slopes and inclines, and "grotty" areas. :wink:)

I can't think of any other hotel in that area with a mural on the outside wall.....well not one as prominent as the Pink Flamingo mural

Is it the Oasis apartments which face onto the seafront?

if you are at the pelicanos and look over the road to the seafront
you can see it

i dont think its a snake its like a twist down the side i think in green

Hi mpainy ... you're right, if you are looking from the Sol Pelicanos towards the seafront, then it couldn't possibly be the Flamingo Oasis. The Flamingo Oasis is behind the Pelicanos.

Several high rise buildings in Benidorm have all windows and balconies sea-facing, and so they also have tiled murals on the rear facade to brighten up what would otherwise be a very drab looking mass of concrete. I can't think which one you might be referring to as having a snake-like mural, but if it's actually on the Levante promenade then it could possibly be the rear facade of Les Dunes Suites.

Some of these buildings with murals are hotels and holiday apartments, but others are private residential complexes.

It's a pity more of them aren't designed and decorated like this, because the views from some sea-facing accommodation can be slightly spoiled if you are also looking on to the rear wall of a 25 storey building which has neither windows nor balconies.

David, Are you getting the Flamingo Oasis and the Oasis Apartment block mixed up? (as in the context of the replies)

I have often admired the mural on the Oasis (apartments) and that's why I asked for some more info

We could see it from the Villa de Benidorm but I haven't a photo of that view!

I don't know the Oasis Apts which you mention, but know it's not the Flamingo Oasis which BHIC mentions in an earlier post.

It is deffo the Oasis across the from the front of los Ocas NOT the flamingo oasis.

Deffo the Oasis.....just walked passed it.

It's a kindda multi coloured mosiac twinning around the words Oasis.

You can just see the bottom bit on the very end of the video tourist train part 1.

Been in and enquired this am.
We were told that they are all one bedroom apartments with a sea view.
Very secure premises and the apartment that we were shown is modern, spotlessly clean and let's say...compact...IMO, adequate for 2 people and no more.
