Saving money but still killing yourself - all you smokers want your heads looking at! Roll on August when the smoking ban comes in!!!!!
Whilst I was a child my parents made decisions for me. I am now an adult and strangely enough am able to make my own decisions. You obviously don't smoke and I respect your decision, it is your choice. However I do smoke and I don't need to ask anyones permission to do so. Please respect other peoples decisions however much you dislike them because it would be a dull world if we were all the same.
You say roll on the smoking ban, but do you realise what damage that will do to businesses i.e. pubs etc. Whilst away at christmas we were speaking to an Irish couple who were in the trade (note I said were) Since the smoking ban came into effect in Ireland they lost so much trade that they had to close their business. Still one good thing, when everyone in England gives up smoking and the governement are not receiving all the tax from the smokers. they will no doubt increase tax on something else that will effect even the non smokers. Do I care NO because I will be living permanently in Tenerife smoking as many cheap fags as I want.

I new it was too good to last members falling into the trap of starting a discussion on the rights and wrongs of smoking. If this topic is to remain open please get back on topic and discuss the subject heading if not it will be locked
I am sorry for going Off Topic but I was just pointing out that we all have our own choices to make in this world and be they right or wrong in someone elses eyes they are OUR choices. If people respected this then there would be no problems.
Sorry
Regards Jackie

dont really wanna get dragged into this smoking/non smoking topic..... but may be worth a mention that a goodmany bars here have now scrapped the no smoking thing, and have at least a smoking area, if not smoking throughout.
