Last weekend I was checking arrival times at Stansted airport when I noticed two flights from Istanbul, one with Onur Air and the other with Pegasus Travel. I am trying to book flights to Istanbul at the moment for later in the year with BA and Turkish Airlines only coming up on flight searches.
Does anyone know how I can book / if I can book tickets to Istanbul with Onur Air and Pegasus. I have looked at the Onur Air website but it's only possible to book internal flights.
Thanks
Karen
I would suspect these flights are either operating from north cyprus to the UK and are not permited to fly direct to the uk, or they may be a football charter, or a ferry flight.
Thanks Goldeneye. Oh well, looks as though I'll have to pay the astronomical fares offered by Turkish Airlines or British Airways, unless I fancy going via Hungary!!
Try Germanwings, they fly to the "other" Istanbul airport from Cologne and also fly to Stansted
Thanks, I'll have a look at Germanwings, although I think the "other" Istanbul airport is miles outside the Asian side of Istanbul, but if they're cheap then who cares!!
Does anyone know who provides the cheapest fares to Istanbul for October/November time?
INVALID URL to be the cheapest when I booked a return flight to Istanbul from Heathrow in February this year.
Mazz
Not sure about Oct/Nov but I found British Airways (Mazz
Azerbaijan Airlines used to fly LGW to Istanbul then onto Baku, but now the flights are direct to Baku. Their fares were the cheapest around at about £110 return.
