Hello
We are looking for a villa for 12 for June 2008 and we want to stay within walking distance of the strip. however some of the villas i have looked at say they are and then others say they are a short car journey away, yet theyadvertise as being in the same place can anyone tell me exactly which area i should be looking for,
I want to be very close to the strip, so that we can walk, and not rely on any transport. Please can someone advise me
Thankyou for your help

. Apartments Solar Sao Joao just off the strip could be your best bet, we have stayed there on a few occasions they are basic but clean and the complex is ok. Hope you find what u are looking for & have a good holiday. Cheers Jayjan
hi Ryan, thinks you will be better booking apartments for your party, not many villas sleep 12 around the strip area. Try . ref p2826 has a villa divided into 5 separate apartments each sleeping 2/3 persons, you might be able to book all 5 if booked early.
This way you'll be all together with your own pool.
Hope it gives you an idea.
Basil.
Areas near the strip within walking distance are Montechoro Praia da oura and Areias de Sao Joao.
Thankyou for the link have you stayed in the appartments that you showed me I have contacted the owner and they are available but would like to know if anyone has stayed here and if they can be recommended.
thanks again for your help
