hiya, just wondering what the hotel metaph in Marmaris is like! i stayed there in 1991 and would like to go back!

do you mean mehtap.....if so there are plenty of reviews, its been refurbed and revamped last year, only bad point is it is quite noisy due to the "entertainment"

hi myself and my daughter stopped there for 2 weeks in september we loved it the rooms were lovely and the people as we know are great my friends also work there the music goes off at 1am so not that bad

hi i have also booked mehtap going 24 august for 2 weeks prime location right on the beach.moved from kocer club after 2 nights last year (our room was right above aussie bar music until 4 am) to mehtap liked it so much booked to go this year.....cheers

Stayed there in 2005 and absolutey loved it!! Couldn't believe how lucky we were with location, we were right on the beach front and even though we were close to restaurants and bars, there were no sounds after 1am.

Ihsan and his staff are fantastic and the Bacchus and Red Dragon restaurants have great food

We had a straight on sea view and the view was amazing - waking up in the morning looking over the bay was awesome!

I would go back tomorrow!!

hi my wife and i are going to mehtap in august we booked through thomas cook paid £760 for 2 weeks from glasgow (expensive flights up here) a bit more than that now though.....cheers

so can any of you's tell me where about on the beach front is this hotel near? Is it near salt n pepa, how many minutes walk would it take about to get there? Thanks! :lol:

hi do not know where salt n peppa is but if you know macdonalds on the main street closest to the marina it is almost straight across the road on the beach front.....cheers

hi salt n pepa chick if you go to mehtap i am sure you will have a good time it is a good place to stay nice rooms very clean it has 2 restaurants and the staff are friendly.all rooms have sea view also good only stayed 5 nights last year went there on the good advice from craigy999 a member on the forms.hope everything works out alright for you ...cheers..nubber

Hi the mehtap is about 10-15 mins away from bar x if that helps i go for 2 weeks in sept most years i try other hotels in june just for a bit of variety

Hi all, Anyone that wishes to stay at the mehtap hotel and fancys going DIY to potentialy safe some money then contact them direct by visiting their website http://www.sunnseaholidays.co.uk and asking Ihsan for a price, and 9 times out of 10 he will beat any package deal price.
You could always say i recommended you to do so.
