Hi all,
I have today booked to go to the Three Corners in El Guna.
After completing the booking, the girl in our local Thomas Cook shop noticed that there is an independent project to construct a new marina is taking place focusing on preparing the seabed and removing the sand.
Is this the case, also, I thought the marina was reletivly new?
They said I can get all my money back if i no longer wish to go by the end of today.
Any info you have on this will be great.
Thanks in advance
When we were there in December the works didn't spoil our enjoyment of the Marina Area.
If you are still concerned why not ask if you can move to one of the other hotels such as the Sheraton Miramar or Movenpick ? These are further away from the Marina .
There is building work in much of El Gouna due to its increasing popularity but we have never found that it spoilt our holiday in any way.
I don't think you would necessarily even notice the work going on!!
PM me with your e-mail address and I'll forward you a site map of el gouna that may put your mind at rest a little.
BTW Crombie and I (who both have houses in El Gouna!) have both assumed you mean 3 Corners Ocean View - but sometimes the Rihana is also called the 3 Corners - and that is even further away - almost in downtown!
Have decided to go ahead with the holiday as it seems wil will hardly notice the building work from our hotel (3 Corners Ocean View).
I have PM'd you TAH-M.
Thanks for all your help guys...what a great forum this is!
No problems - map sent by e-mail
