Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I just wondered where we stand for Medical insurance, should we need treatment. Not sure whether the EU policy is valid in Turkey.
I note that vaccinations are probably not esential gauging by the discussions on the relevant forum.
Medical insurance is an absolute must!Also be aware of what is covered and what is not! Cheapest is not always the best! I'm constantly amazed by the numbers of people who don't bother to get it, then are shocked when treatment is required and they have to find the money which can often be much more than you expect.

Cheers folks, that is what I thought. We've always used the Post Office Insurance, found that to be pretty good.
