I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to this website.
If this posting is in the wrong place, sorry!!!
I had some terrible experiences in 2005, my first ever with a tour operator and I had no idea what to do or how to solve it.
I managed to stumble across this website and a couple of others and received, on the whole, so much support and advice and lively debate(we all have refreshingly different opinions).
Without this website I would not have been able to successfully fight my corner and receive a fair amount of refund and compensation from the Tour Op in question.
It didn't make up for the huge dissappointments and subsequent health problems but knowing my rights and knowing that others supported me, did make a massive difference and I would urge anyone browsing this website to make good use of the amount of information and experienced members as much as possible, but don't forget to say thanks and leave updates etc.
I'm off to New Zealand shortly, not for a holiday, but to live and may not get the chance to access this site anymore, hence this last posting.
So thanks to the moderators, Ros and all the members that have helped me directly or indirectly.
Bless all of ya and happy holidays!!!!!!!!!!
Jules

I truly hope you are able to access. Thank you so much for your lovely comments.
Our site would not be what it is without its members, so whilst we appreciate you thanking us all - take a bow yourself. We are what you have made us.
Good luck with your new life in beautiful New Zealand. We hope you manage to pop in now and then.

As Kath has said, the site wouldn't work without the Members. It is lovely to be appreciated.
We have some great members here who willingly give their time to advise and support other members. It really is appreciated when a member comes back with an update after asking for advice.
I sincerely hope that you do manage to come back and vist us when you move down under. All the very best for the move.

I will be looking for help from you when we get NZ queries
Many thanks Jules - I hope you will pop in and see us and good luck with your move.
The Admin and mods have had their say, but as one member to another, I would like to thank you for your post (it brought a tear to my eyes).
It's nice when the members who contribute regularly on this site read posts such as yours, it personally gives me the inspiration to carry on trying to be of assistance to other members, and there are times when that well meaning assistance is neither thanked or acknowledged.
Good luck with your move to New Zealand and remember that this site needs people like you hun.
Bless ya too

I echo Sanji's post.
Have you room in your suitcase for me? I love New Zealand and it's people and I wish you lot of success in your new life down under.

I hope you have a wonderful life in New Zealand and that you manage to stay in touch with HT. Although it may appear that most people on here are from England there are a surprising number from abroad. You could be an invaluable source of information for anyone thinking of going out there, whether for a holiday or to live permanently.
Good luck in New Zealand
Hope you enjoy your new life in New Zealand
Good luck in you new life. Hope everything goes well in the future.
What a lovely post. Here's wishing you a great future in New Zealand. Someone at work went there for 3 weeks over Xmas and can't stop telling us how fab it is. I'm sure you'll find a way to log on sometime in the future.
Take care..
Best of luck with your new life in New Zealand
I can only echo what other admin/mods & members have said if you do have internet access and a little spare time i am sure other members who would move or holiday in the islands would love to have the imput from an active local member...
What a great post Jules. It's so heartwarming when I hear that this site (my favourite holiday one, for it's friendly helpful advice) has truly helped someone like you.
