Can anyone recommend a Tailors for a new suit and an Opticians. Only there for a week so it will need to be quick. Staying in our cottage in Anjuna for the seciond time. Thanks in advance.

I like Mac too. Other locations that I know about are Colonia de Braganza and Highland Beach Resort.

if you put tailor and then optician into "search" and "goa" in the forum you will find a lot of recommendations as well.
i used mac at the nizmar as well. top quality

you'll get a top quality suit from Mac for about £120- £150
Hi Louise, sorry we havent bought a suit from Mac tailors, but know there is one within the grounds of the hotel.
But Martin has given you an idea. I think they are a bit more expensive, but very good quality (so ive heard)

You'll get a great suit made at Renton Manor, Arpora from Sams Tailors at a 1/3rd of that. My Dry CLeaner said it was the most well made "foreign Made" suit she'd seen

I ahd thought about the tailors but never considers replacing specs while there. I need to replace varifocals with tinted leses and my reading/computer specs. Are these likely to be available and if so any idea of cost?
interesting.. I'm actually getting a new pair of glasses (specs?) made just before our trip, for the trip. I should probably hold off and buy them there! Probably save some.

Mine in uk in June were £350 for varifocals and reactolites. Got pair in Eyesite in Candolim £106 for same and nice trendy frames.
