Me and my Girlfreind are thinking about booking a weeks holiday to Tunisia at the beginning or march. We have been looking and have been considering the Iberostar Sahara Beach Hotel and the Thassal Village Hotel?
We are going All Inclusive and this is the first holiday we have been on abroad together, i myself have been to the Dominican Republic previously when i was 16, now 20 so a while ago.
The price for a weeks stay all inclusive at any of the above was in the range of £550 GBP to £650 with everything provided.
Would anyone recommend this hotel for our first time? if not then why or if you have any recommendation for the two of us then please share your suggestion. We ideally dont wanna travel ages from the airport to our resort.
Also is there many taxis outside the airport which will take us to any resort and so on?
Are the prices you quote per person, or for the two of you? If the former, they seem quite expensive and I'm sure you can do better. As there are only two of you, do you really want all inclusive? Eating out is very cheap and going half board leaves you free to explore other places.
I hope you have a lovely holiday - I'm sure someone on here can help with any questions you have.
the reason for all inclusive is basically because its not much cheaper going Self catering or HB, plus drinks and so on will be free, whats the beer like lol
also will it be hot around 5th March?
Hi is this the hotel you are asking about? i was here last summer...read the review.....dont get the transfer easier and quicker by taxi about 6TDN..as for if it will be hot not sure on that....And remember its out of season so i dont know what the staffing is like..but enjoy...any other questions just ask..
hi, yes that was one of the other hotels we were considering, the sahara beach one was one which we were more likely to try and book, with it being out of season does that mean staffing changes and things dont get done etc and it aint as busy?
I went last year on March 8th and the weather was ok, quite windy and overcast for about a week of the fournight and the other week was glorious!
god enough to sit and be outside by the beach etc though
bear in mind that there's not much night life in Tunisia for a young couple, and a decent pint or glass of wine is hard to come by......
