we went on a sunset cruise last year ..our goan taxi driver and his friend took us ,,but wouldnt accept us to pay for them ,,they waved us off laughing,
well when we set sail we noticed we were the only english faces all 5 of us ,,on a boat packed with indian families, it was like a scene out of bollywood ,all dancing in turn ,,eg mams first then dads (my hubby went white )not through sea sickness
then it was the childrens turn .. we sort of shrunk in our seats
though we did enjoy the sunset
..when we arrived my our goan friends were nearly rolling on the floor .they knew what it was like and them been teens thought it was hilarious

irishman, that looks great
Havn't been but might send mum and dad, think they will love it. Would go myself but hubbie doesn't do boats he gets sick
ladyjan we also went on a sunset cruise but only the 45 minute one. I know what you mean though, they all get up and dance to the Indian music.
We thought itwas great fun. Because we had our little girl with us who is a red head tho (she was only 22 months old) all the Indians kept turning round and taking her photo and most of them spent the whole cruise watching her! We should have been charging them we would have made a packet
Will defo do that cruise again but not the longer one with food! it wasn't on the noahs ark either
We did same cruise in Jan and all the Indians kept staring at us - we thought it was like an Indian Butlins, couldn't help but laugh.
oap
at least it is not only us that they kept staring at then, that makes me feel a bt better! cant wait to do it again though as it was a really good laugh, especially after a couple of Kingfishers!

Hi lardyhead1. I cant remember how much it cost but I dont think it was more than about 150rps. There are so many boats which seem to do the sunset cruise, we asked taxi to take us to it and he did but cant remeber the name of the boat, sorry.
Have you done i before? they have lots of traditional indian dancers on first and then its a free for all and everyone is welcome onto the stage! Oh it was so funny, you must go!
