luton and stansted B&B or hotel

We are flying into Stansted airport on our way to France on 31st August and from Luton airport the following day to Nimes. We are looking for a reasonably priced B&B or hotel in both Luton and Stansted. We're interested in both areas as we shall probably want to spend the night of the 31st in Luton and the night of September 1st in Stansted prior to our return flight to Toronto.
Any recommendations will be gratefully received.

Try Travelodge's new hotel 'Stansted Great Dunmow' for Stansted Airport, also Days Inn at Birchanger Service Station. There is an Ibis very close to Luton Airport. Good luck.

Thank you all so much for your help. Once I have decided which airport we shall be leaving for France from(Stansted to Marseilles or Luton to Nimes) I shall be making a booking. I have looked at all your suggestions and made a list....in ascending order of price and value.

If it is stansted then please let me know as i need to book something for april (have a very early flight) im looking for hotel and parking.

thanks david have done, there are some good recomendations there aswell.
Have found a couple of b&b's but think we would prefer a hotel onsite as we havew such an earely flight and cant be asked to have to book a cab at silly o'clock in the morning :lol:
