I can thoroughly recommend the Hemera,we stayed last March and it was excellent.It has been refurbished over the winter and will be fantastic.The Melas hotel was next door which looked luxurious but the Turkish lads who were the animation team told us the Hemera was the most friendliest.It is the number 1 hotel in Side on Trip Advisor.The Stone palace is 15 km away in Manavgat and if you look on the reviews on trip advisor(2nd one down on google) you will see it had a large majority of German and Russian guests.Even the Germans complain about the Russians.The Hemera had a nice mix of all nationalitys when we were there,the Belguims being the most boisterous!The Hemera and Melas are 30 minutes walk along the beach or 10 minutes dolmus ride to the old town,and there are also shops and bars just outside.I personally wouldnt book the Stone Palace as it will probably be quite isolated and it probably isnt a great deal cheaper.The Hemera is now used by Thomas Cook,Portland and Panorama.You can also book direct.I got a Christmas card from them and the rates were a lot cheaper than the travel agents charge,also Thomas Cook have good deals on the flights.

Thanks for your comments, I just got a phone call to say they have booked the Hemera on the 8th July for 2 weeks!The only down side being they fly with " Sun express" I'm assuming they are a Turkish airline. Once again thanks!

we also went last year to the hemera in may for 2 weeks we have booked again for this may for 2 weeks . i would recomend this hotel to anyone . it is the friendliest i have been to. i hope some of the animation team from last year are still there they made the holiday special.

David, Nyles friend has booked for the Hemera in July.I would love to go in May as last year we went in March as we had winter flights from our airport.I think it will be fully booked now but I have the tariff for booking direct.For May its 80 euros per person,that works out about £756 without the flight.Have you been booked long?.

hi jay its quite easy to get a price on the thomas cook website. and there are still places left for may as i got a price a couple of days ago for a friend , i would have a look on their website if i was you if you cant find it i will be happy to check the price for you if you let me know how many and where from and the dates .

Hi David I have just checked on the Thomas Cook website and it is available on the 8th May from our local airport for £585 each but I notice they are using Sun Expess for the flights.I also notice the flights are available in April for £434.Thomson also fly to Antalya from our airport and Portland go to the Hemera so Ill check their prices.
