Never been to the Algarve Casino but can tell you it is in a good position overlooking the beach (which is wonderful)It is also in a good position for restaurants and bars and there is a bus stop right outside to take you into Portimao, the bus which will take you to Albufeira or Lagos goes from just along the road.Or you can take the bus into Portimao and take the train to Lagos which is what we like to do.Also you must walk along the beach to Praia do Vau and then go for a meal at the fish restaurant on the beach.You are also by the walkway on the beach which you can walk on to Portimao Marina ans sit and have a drink watching the fishing boats come in and out.Will be at Praia do Vau next week (can't wait!)
