I'm thinking of booking this hotel for this aug. I'v got a great price from eclipse, but like yourself I'm keen to hear if anyone has actually stayed there. The hotel has its own website and thomson, on their site has got it as being opened in 2005. Confusing or what?

hi bigstego, the blue lagoon is the new part to the blue sea i think its built next door and they changed the name to luca blue lagoon but the blue sea was a 3 star i think i read but when the new one was built they class that as a 5 star and refurbed the blue sea and that became 5 star. hopefull some will reply that has gone before we go not that it makes much diffrents as we are going anyway but it would be nice to have an upto date review from this year keep watching someone might reply. every where i have read it was built 2005/2006 but opened in june 2006 i hope this helps. brutam

Hi and thanks for the reply. It doesn't look like we'll be going, the flight times are horrendous from glasgow. I phoned eclipse and there isn't an option re late checkout room. I'v also emailed the hotel to see if they can let me book something. No reply as yet. I'v tryed to cost it diy but its working out to expensive so I think we're going to go to zante. Good luck and i hope you get some replys.
