hi im going over in march and i don not no whether it would be better to rent while im there or just stay with my boyfriend.
if you do think renting is better then does anyone no how i can get a cheap place it is only for two weeks but if it is nice then i would be able to talk to the owner for a place for me to stay in june when i go and stay there for the foreseeable future. please help

From what I've been able to work out renting as a holiday let is a lot more expensive than if you're renting long term to live there. If your boyfriend lives in Hammamet or close enough, you may be better off staying with him. Although perhaps if he looks into renting somewhere and arranges it all you won't pay the tourist prices. I know a friend of mine always rents. I don't know what she pays, but her (Tunisian) husband's brother arranges it and I think they get a better price because of this.
