We have been researching a few things regarding our dream holiday. Does anyone know or has anyone ever hired an RV in Florida for a couple of weeks, would you recommend it , does it work out expensive does anyone know of a good hire company - this would be for August 2011

Hi Jen,
I haven't done it in Florida, did get one for a couple of weeks in California quite a few years ago, it actually worked out to be very expensive, not sure if that is still the case but once you take into account RV hire, insurance, petrol (a lot of it)! and hooking up to overnight stops, it really adds up. Just something to be aware of I guess
