An interesting article in the local press this week. The contract for cleaning the beaches has not been awarded this season as the contractors have nowhere to dump the rubbish and were fly tipping it on the roadsides. The minister for tourism seems to take the view that it would be easier to leave it where it is !! Says a lot about their attitude to the tourists Alan
la plage is at ashrem beach, its a fantastic french restraunt, (beach shack)bit expensive by goan standards, but well worth it.
dissapointed in the restraunt francaise in baga because of the extremly small portions. never used to be like that!! have now stopped going there!!

I like Arambol when you head round the rock and go to the fresh water lake.
I also like vagator
And I think this beach is Morjim. Nice food there. Compound fractured my heel jumping the river the first year I went though (silly boy :D)
I love the journy's there on the scooters. Feels like your on a real adventure. W didn't use a map. Just got on the bikes and went

Because its pretty shallow the sea is nice and warm there.

Body boarding!! I'd love it.
Really good waves in Palolem and Arambol for body boarding. Infact there so good you can do it without the board. Just watch out for rocks.
