There is plenty to do in Vegas without gambling and drinking. As you are only there for a couple of days I'm sure you will enjoy just visiting the casinos and hotels, taking in a show and eating at the buffets.

Thanks for the replies
It doesn't make sense to make plans to go somewhere that you have to be 21 to participate in drinking and gambling and then ask "how
strict are they?"
If you are used to the liberal UK drinking laws where teens of all ages are allowed in, it will come as a shock to find that you HAVE to be 21.
No one is going to face the real risk of losing their licence and livelihood so that your family members don't get left out.
The best bet is your (original) passport. However, as it's not always convenient to carry that around, a drivers license (obviously containing a photo) should also be fine. Failing that, a college ID might be okay but you're starting to get on shaky ground in terms of how many places will accept it. And failing THAT...well...you can always not drink or gamble.
A college id might not be accepted when we were last in Florida (Sept 2005) my daughter who was 21 was not served alcohol because the id she had with her was her uni id and deemed not acceptable. We were told it had to be her passport as she doesn't have a driving licence.
Thanks Mands
I have successfully used a photocopy of my passport for all these things. However on our last trip it was refused by check in at Caesars Palace and also at the player's club at the Sahara. Everywhere else it wa accepted.
