We are travelling to France via Dover and need overnight accomodation as our Ferry is early Monday morning. Does anyone have any recommendations of hotels/b&b's etc in the Dover area. I am not looking at spending a lot of money.
Thanks

Hi we took the advice of the link and used the premier travelodge...there are 2 i think but we used the one by the ferry terminals and it was really good...has just been re furbished...we got a sea view as well...really interesting to watch the ferries come in and out. In fact ask for a sea view as the rooms on the roadside may be noisy..we would certainly use this again. There isnt much to do in dover but there is a good cafe called Chaplins which is reasonably priced and does a good breakfast, in the centre of town.
Hi can anybody help me find accommodation for myself and my family for one night near the port of dover. We are traveling from Scotland and need overnight stop before the ferry in the morning. We have been told it would bebetter to stay at the other side, but we are meeting people and driving straight through from there. Preferably a large family room for us all [the kids are 10 and under] or 2 seperate rooms. Any help on this would be great. We have managed to arrange everything else.
Thanks
Donna
