If you have never travelled by train in India you have got to try it.We travelled to Hampi which is about 8/5 hours a great experience.

Travelled to Hampi the first week of the new "express" service, took longer that the old standard service! Only in India 
Got to agree,our train back was 3/5 hours late.Then it went so slow we ended up in Vasco 5 hours behind schedule.
