The two resorts run in to one another and so the walking time is very negligible, say 20 mins tops. On outskirts of Perissa is Smaragdi Village Hotel which has a Greek Night every saturday but you must Book in advance, a great night out.

I think 20 mins is about right. Perivolos is alot quieter than Perissa though and there aint alot inbetween. They are both nice paced resorts though and you will love Santorini.

Hi,

We stopped in Perivolos a couple of years ago and most nights we went to Perrissa.
I would make a couple of comments, Perivolos is spread out and depending on where you stay it will take at least 20 minutes, possibly nearer 40.
The road along the coast is not particularly well lit and there are no footpaths. You need to take care as kids on scooters tend to drive along there too fast.
There is an alternative path across a field, around an hotel that will bring you out just up the road from the small waterpark, you then have easier access to the 24 hr bakery, but then have a walk back into Perissa.

Most nights, we took the early evening walk along the coast, had something to eat then went back the other way. It somehow seemed safer.

We quite liked the walk, it is flat, and after spending most of the day laying around, we felt we needed the exercise. But if I was going to go to Santorini again I wouldn't stop in Perivolos.

Hope this helps.
