Hi Scarlett, times will have changed, but I moved to Toronto to be with my Canadian b/f back in 1984. We would have had to get married for me to get a visa to work, so I had to do low paid nannying jobs to get by. Still, I had a great couple of years and loved Toronto and the Canadian way of life. I am not sure how old you are, I think you should be able to get some kind of working visa if you are under 24 (but again, I am not 100% sure of that). The Canadian embassy will be able to help you, they were very informative when I wanted to move out there. Good luck and hope all goes well with you and the b/f. Saz1
