We stayed for a week in Hotel Vila, a lovelly old fashioned Spanish hotel in centre of town, I new a soon as I saw it on FlyGlobespan website that it was just for my wife and myself it was more or less as expected for example the food was Spanish / Catalan.

My main issue was with the large number of school / college parties Spanish, French, Italian and German staying for 2 or 3 days at a time, as you can imagine noise at mealtimes ( like being at school dinners ) even when eating 20:30 ish and unable to find peace and quite in many of the beautifull public areas dozens of youngsters blocking the reception area when we were trying to get in and out of hotel, coillect keys etc.

We met visitors from other hotels who seemed to be having same problems and was wondering if other posters could say if this is normal for the resort during this week, month or indeed the whole of the off season.

The weather during the week started warm and windy getting very warm and calm towards the end of the week.
