Dickenson Beach is just beautiful. We did not stay there but drove up there a couple of times.

Hi, we stayed at this hotel last september/october for a couple of weeks and it is lovely. We were upgraded to superior pool view room upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise. Most of the staff are brilliant but there was a couple that were really rude. The food was lovely. Lunch does get a bit repetative but was nice all the same. The beach is beautiful but watch the sea as it did turn very suddenly (very strong under current) so deffinately be careful. I think it was to do with the time of year we went as there were a couple of twisters out to sea. water sports on the beach was a joke. The bar areas were nice, although they did run out of malibu. Entertainment was good. All in all a nice hotel, nice food, nice beach, mostly nice people and a good holiday had by all.

Plannin a trip there with my GF but have been seeing mixed reports on TripAdvisor.

Anyone got some first hand information for me?
