Personnally I think the following resorts on the island are most appropriate for families:

Santa Eulalia
Es Cana
Cala Llonga
Puerto San Miguel
Portinaxt
San Antonio Bay

Plenty choice there!

Have a look at the Can Sanso Apartments in Santa Eulalia. We have stayed there twice and they were brilliant for families.

I have stayed at the Playa Bella Apartments in San Antonio Bay, they have really big 2 bedroomed apartments and there's something there for all ages from tots to teenagers so no trouble with entertainment, its right on the beach with lots of lovely bars restaurants and snack bars you won't have far to go for anything. The water taxi will take you over to San Antonio town for a few euro's and the kids will love it

the escane apartments in es cana cant be beaten for position and cleanliness,alll appartments have a wonderfull sea view.no organised activities as such,but es cana is safe enough to let the older kids wander off.the new sirenis atlantic apartments in es cana tick all the boxes,both in the first choice or eclipse direct brocure.another thought the miami appartments are good also,and you can use the facillities of the miami hotel,entertainment etc. mo. ps. all the properties are in es cana.

I have stayed Playa Bella in San Antonio bay. Was a while ago back in 1999 but the accommodation is very appropriate for familes, not really my thing but it was a last minute booking.

Also stayed at Can Sanso in Santa Eulalia. This is a well maintained complex with high standards of cleanliness. I would recommend here. Again very family orientated.
