I think you might have underestimated the cost of a trip at that time of year especially if your looking for an apartment with an extra room rather than a studion stye. You might be able to get flights for around £100 to £150 depending on where you fly from, have a look at skyscanner.net which is a good comparison site to get an idea of costs for various airports.

Your accomodation will probably be the most expensive especially if you are looking for something near the beach, however having said that this will probably be the most variable cost, you can get very low star hostels in most resorts which are classed as budget accommodation why may suit you. The only way to find out is start looking, have a look at wintersunshineholidays.com or alpharooms which provide reasonably priced accommodations, there are loads of other sites which act as agents too for numerous hotels across the island.

As for your choice of resort well as your into the music scene your choice will probably be either San Antonio, Ibiza town or playa den bossa, each have the pros and cons and I would suggest doing some research to identify what really suits you. Ibiza town is more cosmopolitan and right next to some of the big clubs, San Antonio is more british but has the allure of the sunset strip for chill out bars and preparties, and Playa den bossa is good for .well not sure really, Bora Bora I suppose, which is the music beach bar during the day plus its reasonably close to Ibiza town. Where ever you stay its very easy to get from one to another at any time of the day or night via the disco bus which runs between san an and Ibiza town right the way through the night during peak seasons.

A quick check of alphrooms for example going for one week on aug 14 gives prices for a 1 bedroom apartment in Playa den bossa for around £650. in San An £500 ish, nothing in ibiza town but areas close such as figueratas come in at £800, so as you can see you will struggle to find anything for less than £300 each (well on alpharooms anyway), even the hostal accommodation in san An is £500 for one week due it being peak season,

cheapest flight i can see on the same date is £70 from london gatwick to £140 from doncaster with lots of other airports varying inbetween prices.

I would suggest a more reasonable expected budget of around £500 for one week should cover flights and accomodation, although this might be less if your not too fussy on where you actually stay, of course the prices does vary depending on when abouts in the month you go and whether you fly on a weekday or weekend.

Remember to take double that amount for spending unless you blag your way into all the big clubs & drink ice cubes all night!

Thanks for the advice guys cheapest i've found for my dates is about £250 incl flilghts in san an bay or £345 for playa del bossa, gonna research a little more on the resorts but will be booking by the end of next week.

you may be better off booking in to jet appts in playa den bossa.thing is if there is only 2 of you .it will cost more in some places.best if you give this site some deff dates and airports you can make it to.so we can all look for you.1 k sounds about right if your s/c and going to clubs.drinks are not cheap in all of them..

jet would just be right for you.full of younger clubbers ect.if you get the right rooms you can even hear bora bora beach bar,well i did many years ago.stones throw from space/ dc 10 just down the road not far away.ibiza town 10 mins away on bus or taxi.so 6 /7 clubs if you count time.within 20 mins away in taxi.

lookin at going 9th to the 16th aug for the radio one weekend, can go to any airport in the UK as we are in the services and can use one of our free flights to get us anywhere in the Uk, not to shabby eh lol. Been usually searching for all london and have found them to be pretty much the cheapest. AS said in my last post have found places for around £300-£350 on a site but still lookin as best we can for a better deal if its out there lol

Dick Dastardly 339 inc flight yes thats good for augs.its not far to anywhere really in ibiza.cheap on bus treat yourself to taxi at night.if you cannot find anywhere cheaper book that one
