Hi, it should be fairly hot during the day and probably cool enough for a cardigan or light jacket in the evening. The sea and pools will still be quite cool as they won't have had time to heat through from the sun.

Sorry I can't help with the weather as I have never been to Zante but have a similar question to ask so rather than start new thread thought I would ask here.

I am thinking of booking a trip to Zante from 19th August for two weeks but am a little concerned about the weather as I have read that it can be very unpredictable with rain Can someone please advise if this is the case mid Aug to beg Sept?

lea28, we had a fab holiday in alikanas, zante last year from the 5th to the 19th of september. the weather was nothing short of perfect every day for the whole 2 weeks. really, really warm and sunny. the only cloud we got was a slight wisp out to sea! the funniest thing about it was, as we boarded our flight home, all of a sudden it seemed to cloud over and as we sat in our seats waiting to take off, tiny drops of rain began to land on the airplane window-but then it was the end of september, saying that, i know of people who have been in october and have also had really, warm sunny weather the whole time. as far as reliable weather goes, i think it's a pretty safe bet, especially august as the rain does not tend to start until mid september at the earliest. it was so hot and dry when we visited that we even witnessed bush fires in the mountains-thankfully away from the coastal resorts. we also came back looking like something off a 1980's sunbed advert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been to Santorini mid Aug - beg of Sept and we had fantastic weather.

we were in tsilivi the same time in may last year and the weather was very good with only 2 half days of cloud and rain, i was ok at night but my wife and 7 yr old needed a cardio occasionally

I was in Zante last year from the 9th of August for two weeks, beautiful weather!

We have been to Zante both in August and May for our honeymoon
The weather early May was cooler the first week but much better the second , just take a cardigan/jacket for evenings ! however in August its lovely and we had very very hot weather all the time we were there
The people there are great.....when we went for our honeymoon ( 2nd time there ) we booked same hotel - all the people there remembered us, and even what I was drinking !!!

we fly may 6th for two weeks i had to book early may as my boyfriend doesn't like it too hot. i'm not fussy really
