I will be going going to LA as part of a wee tour of California and will be staying in Hollywood. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the public transport is like there. For instance, is there buses or some other form of transport on a regular basis to the likes of Long Beach, Venice Beach or Santa Monica Beach?

Also if anyone could recommend any good places in the Hollywood area which arent too expensive to eat, it would be much appreicated
